There are so many wonderful cities and small towns in Georgia. The Peach State is full of amazing places filled with history, delicious restaurants, and great attractions. One of the most enchanting cities in Georgia is undoubtedly Savannah. This was the first city in the state to be settled by Europeans and it’s absolutely magnificent. There’s nothing that can be said about the Hostess City of the South that hasn’t been said before – it’s gorgeous, filled with wonderful things to do, and has so much charm.

While you're downtown, you won't want to miss a visit to the Plant Riverside District. This brand-new area is a repurposed power plant that's now home to hotels, shops, and an event venue.

In a city this old, there are plenty of spooky legends to delight ghost hunters. If you believe the stories, Savannah's Bonaventure Cemetery is among the most haunted cemeteries in the country.
