When it rains it pours! Well in Georgia, when it rains, there's multiple car accidents all around! Georgia is growing in size as more and more people are moving here and as a result, traffic can be pretty bad in metropolitan areas. If you live near a large city in Georgia, you're more than likely to find yourself in an accident or two.

We just cannot resist our southern food! We love our mac and cheese, chicken dumplings, cornbread, bread pudding, and more! Even if this means high cholesterol there's no way we're cutting these foods out of our diets completely!

Sweet tea is an irresistible drink that Georgians just can't deny! One of our favorite drinks here in Georgia is sweet tea made with extra sugar! We'll also take it with Lemonade as an Arnold Palmer!

Hunting is a big sport here in Georgia! In addition to hunting guns, Georgia's governor passed a bill last year that allows everyone to carry a firearm. It's best to stay out of the way if you don't know what you're doing!

Last year, 2 inches of snow caused a literal meltdown in Atlanta. People had horror stories of being trapped in their cars for 15 hours or more, having issues with incompetence and MARTA trains catching on fire. Miraculously, nobody died last year, but it sure left us with nightmares for years to come!

It gets HOT in Georgia! Unfortunately this is an issue that affects children a lot more than adults. Babies and toddlers have passed away from heat exhaustion and teenagers have died from heat strokes due to sports conditioning in the extreme heat. Make sure to watch after your kids this summer, keep them hydrated, and keep them safe!

Fried foods are something we just can't resist! We love our chicken fried, our fish fried, our shrimp fried--and did I mention hush puppies? We just can't get enough of the stuff!

While we do have bike riding enthusiasts in Georgia, it's just not safe! The roads are still primarily meant for cars and bike lanes are either not respected or not there. Fortunately, many cities and counties throughout Georgia are working on building bike friendly lanes and sidewalks. Until then, beware riding your bike down a Georgia road!
