Lisa loves animals and has dogs, rats, cats, guinea pigs, and snakes. She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). Brasstown Bald is one of the most magical places in Georgia. As the highest natural point in the state, it towers 4,784 feet over sea level, giving those who scale it the opportunity on a clear day to view four states. You can hike or drive to the top, making it an immensely popular spot to visit at any time of year. But on a cloudless night, it’s also one of the best areas for stargazing in Georgia. Being so high up in the air means it’s an ideal location to get a great view of the starry night sky.
