Bar food may not necessarily be a favorite cuisine for most. Historically speaking, it typically means peanuts, crackers, and the like, maybe a greasy plate of French fries if you’re lucky. All of that has begun to change over the last few years as gastropubs have grown in popularity in the United States. These pubs got their start in Great Britain and focused on dramatically upping the quality of bar food. You’ll be met with a lengthy menu filled with epicurean delights: no greasy French fries here! We’ve got several great gastropubs in Georgia, and one of the best is the recently-reopened Holeman and Finch Public House in Atlanta. It’s a great spot for a delicious bite to eat or a drink. Check it out:
Holeman & Finch Public House originally opened in Buckhead back in 2008, but announced a move to Midtown Atlanta in 2020. The restaurant was closed while everything was arranged for the big move, and the new location opened up in early 2023.
This is bar food unlike any other bar food in Atlanta, though. There's an array of delights on the menu, with both "bites" and larger portions available.
Holeman & Finch Public House's re-opening was eagerly awaited by many foodies in the city, and you'll definitely want to stop by to enjoy some of the best pub food in Georgia.
