There are plenty of great coastal towns in Georgia, but when most people think of a weekend trip to the coast, their minds go to Savannah. It’s easy to see why: I’m from the Hostess City and am the first to admit that it’s an amazing place to live or visit! It’s full of unique beauty, has so much history, and there’s a phenomenal dining scene. But it’s not the only coastal area of the Peach State, and there’s fun to be had all up and down our 110 miles of coastline. One underrated town that doesn’t get nearly the love it deserves is Brunswick. Check out a few of the best attractions in Brunswick, GA for a weekend getaway:
Brunswick is bordered by a harbor of the Atlantic Ocean, and has several rivers in the surrounding area.
Silver Bluff Brewing Company is located right downtown, and has events scheduled all throughout the year. It's a great place to socialize while enjoying locally-brewed delights.

Want to feel like a kid again? A visit to The Pinball Palace is a must. It's one of the coolest places in Brunswick, with nearly 150 arcade games and pinball machines available for one low admission rate.

Mary Ross Park belongs on every traveler's bucket list. It's in downtown Brunswick, right along the East River. There's often a festival or farmers market going on here, and it's so neat to watch the boats dock.
