What better way to start a road trip than with a quick stroll down memory lane. Foster's Mill Store is a beautifully renovated general store that dates back to the 1840s and is considered to be a historic landmark. But what's better is you can grab a quick bite of breakfast before you continue on your way.

This historic landmark and museum is a must see during the spring and summer months. The grounds are absolutely stunning when flowers are in bloom, and you can marvel over rows and rows of colorful tulips all while getting an important dose of Georgia history.

The next stop on the weekend road trip is Big Canoe, Georgia. It's here that you can take a quick dip in the refreshing water, spend some time with nature, and maybe even sneak a slide down the water rock slide.
