You don’t have to travel far to see some amazing sights. Georgia is full of beautiful trees and spacious country land. What you may not realize is that we have our own small world wonders right here in Georgia! From our own version of the grand canyon to the mysterious rainbow hall, here are 15 amazing views to see and incredible places to visit in Georgia.
Georgia is filled with beautiful, sprawling land and fields. Out in the country one can see the clear blue skies and greenland as far as the eye can see. Paired with a nostalgic old gas station, this image captures the essence of Georgia.
14. Centennial Park
This 21 acre public park was built in preparation for the 1996 Olympics, and is set in the center of the city. It's known for the millions of visitors it attracts each year.

13. The bridge between Copperhill, TN and McCayesville, GA
Visiting the Okefenokee Swamp is another memorable trip that every Georgia resident should take. The Okefenokee Swamp is also one of the most extensive 7 natural wonders of Georgia.
Gibbs Garden is a southern premire destination for horticulture enthusiasts. Located in Cherokee County right outside the city of Atlanta, this beautfiul property is one of the largest residential gardens in the world. Jim Gibbs created this 220 acre garden with nearly 19 ponds, 24 lakes, and 32 bridge crossings.
This breathtaking view of Lovers Leap can be found in Rock City atop of Lookout Mountain. It is a few miles away from Chattanooga, TN, and is home to the "See 7 States" panorama view.
This canyon is nicknamed the "Grand Canyon" of Georgia and is actually one of the 7 wonders of Georgia! Told you we had our own world wonders right here in our backyards.
St. Andrews Beach is located on Jekyll Island. Jekyll Island is located near Savannah, GA, and has two other beaches, Driftwood Beach, and Glory Beach.
This beautiful view of Seminole Lake was taken during the sunrise when the fog flirted with the top of the water. This beautiful state park is over 37,000 acres, and many visitors set up camp close to the lake for boating, fishing, and to just experience nature.
This image brings back childhood memories of dewy fog hovering mysteriously over the farmland during the early mornings. There was something always magical about those moments.
