The Gahuti Mountain Trail At Georgia's Fort Mountain State Park Is So Little-Known, You Just Might Have It All To Yourself
No matter how amazing of a life you lead, it’s likely that you’ve fantasized about escaping into seclusion at some point. We all get irritated by the little mundane bothers of everyday life at times, and the idea of being the only one out in a park or on a trail can sound pretty appealing when your boss is getting on your last nerve. Luckily, we have no shortage of beautiful state parks in Georgia, each of which offers up amazing scenery that will let you feel like you’re escaping your worries for just a bit. One of the most interesting state parks here is Fort Mountain State Park. It’s home to a mysterious wall that was thought to be built by indigenous tribes around AD 500. It’s also home to several great trails, one of which is the Gahuti Mountain Trail. It’s a lot less popular than many other trails here, so you may find that you’re all to yourself on this magical hike.
