Summer in Georgia is a great time. However, it can certainly get a bit muggy. With as many state parks as we have, some fall through the cracks. What better way to enjoy the season than by exploring one of our many underrated state parks? When looking to kick off summer in the Peach State, you’ll want to make sure you pick somewhere with plenty of opportunities to cool off. We’ve found a great state park that may not be as well-known as some of our others, but it’s got great opportunities for fun in both the sun and shade.
