Nothing is more rewarding at the end of a hike then coming across a cascading waterfall over 55-feet high. While Georgia is flush with many stunning waterfalls throughout the state, this particular hike remains a great choice to spend some time outdoors. Not to mention the views just get even better once the leaves are in full color-changing-swing.
The Horsetrough Mountain trail is located in Chattahoochee National Forest, Helen, GA 30545. It is recommended that hikers call the US Forest Service ahead of time in order to check the status of the trail: 706-754-6221.
