Of course we can't talk about Georgia without talking about UGA! It's a school that we are proud of--from their football team to their top notch academics, we're proud that the bulldogs call Georgia home.
11) GA Tech
Another marker of academic excellence is GA Tech, or the Georgia Institute of Technology. It's famous for their amazing football team, and also for their academic rigor. They graduate some of the best engineers in the country!
12) Southern Food
Great southern food and Georgia can be spoken in the same breath. Just about on every street corner, you can find a mom n' pop spot that will serve you up a plate of good southern comfort!
13) Atlanta
The capital of our great state--Atlanta is a place where many people migrate to, and where many a tourist go. There's so many job opportunities and schools in this great city. It's also very multicultural, and brings a global perspective to the state of Georgia.
14) Savannah
Savannah is an upscale vacation spot and an old-fashioned Georgia tradition all wrapped up in one. It's beauty cannot be matched, and it hosts some of the oldest and historical buildings in the country. Savannah definitely makes Georgia a better place.
