1) The Southern Belle
The Georgia belle is sweet as a peach! She is charming, nice, and always well mannered!
2) The Urbanite
The college students usually turn into the DINKS (Double-Income No Kids) and are liberal urbanites. Some people move to Georgia from the city in order to have a more affordable lifestyle.
3) The Redneck
Just like any other southern state, we have our share of the rednecks. According to Movoto Real Estate's blog, Atlanta is actually America's most redneck city! (It was calculated by the number of people who haven't graduated high school, the number of Walmarts per capita and the number of NASCAR tracks nearby.)
4) College Student
You know a Georgia college student when you see one. They're usually walking in a crowd across busy streets, partying in a bar, in a greek house, or asleep in your house at 2:00 pm.
5) The Cowboy
If you're lucky, you might actually see a cowboy riding his horse in Atlanta. I know I've seen them and even knew a group of them that resided in Ellenwood, GA! It's pretty cool to see these old horses in the backdrop of the city.
6) The Southern Gentleman
Smooth, charming, with a southern drawl..OK this is really Josh Gracin, US Marine and American Idol finalist--but he is just the epitome of a southern gentleman in this picture! Don't you agree?
7) Suburbanite
Pictured is a snowy day in Cobb County, a suburb of Atlanta. The suburbanite lives 30-60 minutes away from his job, commutes to his corporate job daily and drinks approximately 3.5 cups of Starbucks coffee per day. These are the suburbanites! True, every state has them, but Atlanta's sprawling suburbs are a force to be reckoned with. Soon Atlanta will be all the way in Macon...
8) Georgia Farmer
The Georgia farmer is strong--and someone we can all be proud of. He wears lines of dignity in his face, and strength in the calluses of his hands. Georgia is actually home to the largest and strongest voluntary agricultural organization, The Georgia Farm Bureau Federation.
9) The Hunter
Hunting season is a big time in Georgia, and it's a huge sport for Georgia folks. Another way to spot a Georgia hunter is camp gear--even if they're not hunting!
10) Super Athlete
