13 Things That People In Florida Really Wish Happened Here

I love Florida, but nobody’s perfect. Who here hasn’t wondered what a WhiteCastle slider tasted like or fantasized about seasons that actually changed?
If we could just change these few things, I think Florida would go from the best and most beautiful state to true paradise.
1. I'll trade you one fewer summer (we have like two to three a year) for a New England fall.
2. Mountains or some rock formations could be a really stunning addition to our already beautiful scenery.
3. I have no idea if it's true, but I've heard WhiteCastle blows Krystal out of the water.
4. Let's be honest, we could probably do with a few driving lessons.
5. It would be awesome if we had the best health care in the states. Our health care typically ranks pretty low nationally.
6. I could live the rest of my life happily without ever seeing a roach/palmetto bug again, thank you very much.
7. Taco Cabana is like a Taco Bell where everything is fresh, they sell alcohol and there's an amazing salsa bar.
8. Our larger cities could use a reduction in crime. This is the one I wish we could change the most.
9. We often rank in the bottom quarter for our state economy. Florida can be a really tough place to find a job, and it would be so much better if that wasn't true.
10. Visiting Buc-ee's is a surreal experience. It's basically like a gas station the size of an entire strip mall. Then there are like 50 bathroom stalls, constantly being cleaned. I have to say I've driven through Texas, and with its nice rest areas, 85 mph speed limit and Buc-ee's it's a great place to drive.
11. Maybe it's just me, but I think it would be kind of nice to be able to buy liquor in the grocery store.
12. Less humidity. It would be nice to be outside all day in the summer without feeling like you're swimming through the air, or to wear your favorite mascara without it ending up all over your face.
13. Last but not least, It would be incredible if we could have a musically inclined city like Nashville, TN, or Austin, TX.
