Florida is under a state of emergency as over 100 fires continue to scorch the land. According to the Florida Forest Service, the damage has totaled nearly 30,000 acres. Thousands of residents have been forced to evacuate from their homes and, despite bits of rain and enormous aid from the Florida National Guard, this heartbreaking situation has not yet been defeated.
