Postcards are a real lost art, a victim of modern technology, and it’s really a shame. Florida, being a popular tourist destination, had some amazing postcards from tourist spots all over the state. Here’s a look back at the past with some charming vintage Florida postcards.

The Aquatarium, later Shark World, was an unfortunate victim of the popularity of Disney World and the price of gas in the '70s.
I guess green benches were a part of classic St. Petersburg history. I'd love it if someone from St. Petersburg would give us some of the history.

Amazingly, there's still an Embassy Mobile Home Park in Clearwater, FL. It would be awesome if it's the same one.
They are still doing mermaid shows in Weeki Wachee more than 50 years after this photograph was taken! The state of Florida even made Weeki Wachee a state park to make sure we didn't lose this piece of history.
