Located near West Palm Beach, this massive Florida park is filled with amenities that make for the perfect warm-weather day. Picture attractions like seven-story drop slides, a bodyboard wave rider, a lazy river, and so much more. Plus, there are events going on all season-long, like the movies in the wave pool and foam parties. So who’s ready to dive in?
For anyone looking for some thrill-seeking, action-packed waterpark fun, head on over to Rapids Water Park in Riviera Beach.
One of the premier attractions within the water park is the giant wave pool known as Big Surf. Clocking in at 25,000 square feet, this wave pool has six different wave patterns that can reach up to six feet high!
What’s even more fun about this wave pool is that you can catch a movie on a giant screen on certain nights throughout the summer and enjoy it right from the water.
Another fan favorite in the park is the quarter-mile lazy river. Grab a noodle and float around the lazy river, past the water shooting cannons and misters.
This is a great mid-thrill ride for the kids or for the adults who want to float around and hang. Lifeguards are set up at certain points throughout the river.
There’s a little something for everyone here in this water park, whether it’s the Big Thunder with a 45-degree drop into complete darkness or the giant seven-story drops that will make you feel weightless.
There are also dining options on-site, so you never have to leave. Try the Big Surf Cafe for cheeseburgers, pizza, chicken tenders, and more options. Or if you have a sweet tooth, try the fried funnel cakes and other delicious desserts!
