Whether you built the cities of your dreams with them or just screamed in pain when you stepped on them, Legos have an emotional connection for most of us. That’s why this massive store in Florida is such a cool experience for both kids and their parents (and even grandparents) who grew up with these classic toys.
For most of us, our favorite childhood toys make our hearts swell with nostalgia. What makes Legos so unique is that they can stir up that nostalgia in so many generations.
These unassuming little bricks have been around forever, but they were introduced to the U.S. in 1962. They are so versatile that they allow your imagination to run wild, and never seem to run out of style.
There are actually three Lego Stores in Florida, but the huge location in Orlando's Disney Springs is a Lego-lovers dream.
You won't believe your eyes when you see the huge displays made of thousands of tiny bricks. Imagine how many hours constructing these must take!
For literally anything you can think of, you can either find a packaged set or create your own designs to build it from scratch.
There are many exclusive sets you won't find in your local toy store, including special scenes and characters from classic Disney movies and Star Wars.
The Pick and Build Wall has bricks and other elements in every possible shade, so you can finally create your masterpiece in colors other than red, yellow, blue, and green.
You can choose from a wide variety of heads, hair pieces, tops, bottoms, and accessories to create your own custom figures. You can even create your own little Lego doppelgänger.
You don't have to wait until you get home to start having fun. The Lego Store has building station inside and out for kids to take a break from the heat and build to their hearts' content.
Kids can even build their own Lego cars and race them on adorable mini tracks.
Disney Springs (AKA Downtown Disney) has lots of other fun shops, restaurants, and activities.
It's located outside of the parks, so you don't have to worry about admission.
Have you ever visited the huge Lego Store in Disney Springs? Do you have any other favorite cool or unique toy stores in the Sunshine State?
