Although Halloween has passed, some people have a hard time waiting until October rolls around again. Don’t worry, there’s a place in Florida that embraces the creepy, dark, and strange year-round. Welcome to Wolf’s Museum of Mystery in St. Augustine:

St. Augustine is the nation's oldest city and has a reputation as one of the most haunted. So it's not that surprising that it attracts lovers of the dark and strange.

Case in point: Wolfgang Von Mertz, owner of Wolf's Museum of Mystery. Wolf has traveled the world in search of unique artificats and curiosities.

Many of the oddities that fill the large Victorian home are just plain interesting, but some definitely veer toward the dark and creepy side, like an entire bedroom devoted to Lizzie Borden.

At Wolf's, you will find paintings with dark themes, a collection of taxidermy, an alien mortuary, an entire corner devoted to serial killers, and much, much more.

There is even a live mermaid who performs in the courtyard! To make things even more interesting, nearly everything in the museum is for sale, which means the exhibits are constantly evolving.
