The winery opened its doors in 1989 about 25 miles west of Orlando, on a beautiful 127-acre estate in the rolling countryside you almost wouldn’t expect to find in Florida.
This particular area of Florida was once the epicenter for the grape industry for the entire state, which is why Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards is such a popular destination.
When guests visit the winery during certain times of year, they will be allowed the privilege of stomping grapes inside the vineyards for a one-of-a-kind experience.
In fact, there is even a Grape Stomp Festival held at the winery that is the perfect way to not only taste a plethora of award-winning wines, but also get your grape stomp on!
The tour will wind down with a fabulous wine tasting held at the large tasting counter on the premises, where guests can try a range of award-winning wines ranging from sparkling to sweet with a dry in between.
