Pass-a-Grille is a quaint little community on the south end of St. Pete Beach. The historic community has beautiful old houses, boutiques, restaurants, and an artists community right on the beach. This quiet little seaside town in Florida is one of our favorites and well worth the visit. Although the beach is the same stretch of land as the St. Pete Beach this little town offers a much quieter and peaceful experience by the ocean, so let us take you on a journey through one of the best beaches in Florida .
When you enter this little town you will notice the peaceful streets and the beautiful palm trees lining the sidewalks. This community will give you a classic seaside experience you thought was only reserved for your dreams.
The town has lovely homes and extravagant places to see along the drive.
After parking you will need to pay a small fee and then you can walk the boardwalk onto the pristine powdery white sand. We have been to this beach many times and every time I feel the sand between my toes it brings me back. Nostalgia is powerful, and this beach is a perfect place to relive old memories.
Once you are on the beach you can see miles and miles of tranquil coastline. From the white sand to the crystal clear blue water you have indeed arrived in paradise.
We love simply walking along the beach and putting our feet in the water. Being in the gulf you won’t typically see large waves but instead, a very calm place to walk, soak in the sun and play with your family.
The famous pink hotel is in the background and is an iconic spot along this beach. If you are looking for things to do in Pass-a-Grille FL then treat yourself to the Spa Oceana inside the Don CeSar Hotel .
The smooth surf makes this the perfect place to play in the water. Splash around and cool off in the warm water. As many times as we have been to this beach we have never experienced cold water, so don’t be scared to dip your feet in.
This is also an excellent beach to look for sea shells. Tropical waters bring in the most unique shells and there are large sections where you can comb through literally thousands of beautiful shells.
It is a spot that is well worth visiting for a day trip and if you live nearby then don’t miss this blessing and make sure you spend the day in the sun at Pass-a-Grille in FL.
There are plenty of other great activities to do aside from lounging around a tropical paradise. If you fancy yourself an art connoisseur then head on over to A Little Room For Art to peruse some stunning masterpieces.
If you're looking for a spot to eat with a great view, try the Paradise Grille , located right on the beach.
Stick around for a while and book a night's stay at the Coconut Inn . With a cozy room, you will be within walking distance of this pristine beach.
Head to The Merry Pier to go fishing with the family. If you have access to a boat then take a voyage to a tropical island adventure to the nearby Egmont Key , Anna Maria Island , or Shell Key.
One of our favorite times to visit the beach is when the sun is setting. The swirling colors of orange, yellow, and purple, are unlike anywhere else in the world. Nothing beats a sunset on the beach and this is a great romantic spot to roll out a blanket and enjoy the stunning scenery.
Doesn’t Florida have the most beautiful coastal communities? We think Pass-a-Grille is one of the best places along the Floridan coast so make sure you check out this incredible spot.
