Well, it was about time the truth came out. Floridians have been hiding this secret for too long, and it was only a matter of time. While Florida might be the go-to vacation destination throughout spring and summer, visiting during the wintertime is just plain wrong. Everyone knows that Florida is actually the worst during the winter, and nobody in their right mind would want to come to visit during this season. Why? Well, here are 9 reasons why visiting Florida during the wintertime is just a bad idea.
Really, many might expect all this holiday cheer from people up north, but in Florida? It’s too much. Too many beautiful lights. Too many fun holiday events. Too much Christmas cheer.

4. Really, 70 degrees pretty much all season long?
Sure, Florida has some cold days and nights, but keeping at a crisp 70-75 degrees during the winter months? How utterly boring. Maybe we WANT to dig our cars out of layers of ice every morning.
Other states during the winter months end up with blankets of one or two colors all season long. Here in Florida? We have way too much color. Who needs it?
We get it, you like Christmas. You enjoy decorating. Your small town looks like it’s straight out of a Hallmark movie. It's too magical, guys, way too magical.

9. Feeling like a kid again is just plain overrated.
Oh yeah? You want to relive some of the best moments of your life from childhood in a place where no one judges you and everything is straight out of a fairytale? Count me out.
