For Over 25 Years, Big Cat Rescue In Florida Has Housed Unique Exotic Animals

Big Cat Rescue is an animal sanctuary in Tampa, Florida has been rescuing and housing exotic cats for over 25 years.
This wonderful cat rescue is devoted to rehabilitating injured or orphaned native wild cats and also ending the private trade and ownership of exotic cats.
This non-profit sanctuary began in 1992 and houses a wide variety of big, exotic cats that have been brought in for a variety of reasons including being saved from slaughter for fur coats or retired from the circus.
The mission of Big Cat Rescue is to provide the best possible home for each animal within their care, while simultaneously stopping the flow of exotic cats that need sanctuary and educating the public.
The tours are 90 minutes long and will guide visitors through the rescue highlighting the work the rescue does, while also educating guests about the exotic animal trade still happening today.
