The famed Florida Trail is one of 11 different National Scenic Trails in the country. Running 1,000 miles, with over 300 miles planned, it’s not likely that too many Floridians will complete the trail in their lifetime. But that doesn’t mean that sections of the trail can’t be completed. In fact, The Florida Trail Segment 36, which runs from Scott Road Trailhead outside of Betts, south 16.4 miles, is filled with natural beauty that can be enjoyed in one weekend-long trek.
Have you ever hiked the Florida Trail Segment 36 before? How about any other segment of this trail? Make sure to let us know in the comments section! Or if you’re looking for more information about this section of the trail, then check out the AllTrails website.
