The Mote Aquarium In Florida Has A Live Otter Webcam

While The Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium is closed to visitors, for the time being, you will still be able to enjoy all of the animals without even needing to step out of your house. The aquarium closed its doors to the public for safety reasons, but in the interim, they have launched a live stream that features three of their fan-favorite river otters—Huck, Pippi, and Jane! Check out this fun-filled Ottercam, courtesy of The Mote Marine Aquarium in Florida.

The Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium in Sarasota is a truly fascinating place where you can spend an afternoon with the family learning all about different animals and marine creatures.

While the aquarium is closed to the public at the moment, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a few of the exhibits from home.

Thanks to the live webcams set up within the aquarium, you can spy on three of the most playful river otters all day long.

Huck, Pippi, and Jane are seen splashing, playing, and wrestling around the habitat, and you get a front-row seat.

These are North American river otters that unfortunately were orphaned too young to survive alone in the wild.

Raised by wildlife rehabilitators, these three otters have found a home here at Mote, fit with a waterslide and all.

Mote even started doing a Virtual #HappyOTTER on certain days, where you can enjoy your favorite cocktail from home and kick back to watch these fun-loving creatures splash around in the water.

So sit back and enjoy the show, as Huck, Pippi, ad Jane play in the water, swim through the pools, and show off their habitat.
