Living in Florida usually means you either have a boat, have considered having a boat, or knows someone who has a boat. One of the best parts about having a boat in Florida, aside from spending the day on the Gulf or ocean, is pulling up to those restaurants that allow you to dock and dine. Miceli’s Waterfront Restaurant in Florida is one of those places, and while people come for the dock, they stay for the scrumptious Italian fare.

In this whimsical, funky fishing town of Matlacha, Florida, there is a waterfront restaurant that is a fresh place to spend an evening.
Miceli’s Waterfront Restaurant in Florida is unique for a few reasons: first, while most would expect Miceli’s to be a seafood spot, the emphasis is on quality, authentic Italian food…
…and second, visitors have the option to arrive by car, canoe, or boat! Since Miceli’s is located on a canal, they built docks behind the restaurant acting as personal parking spaces on the water.
The outdoor patio though is a huge draw for visitors. The colorful decor and wide-open space under a tiki hut are extremely charming. Plus, there is regular live music throughout the week.
