Big Mama’s BBQ in Miami is a small outpost serving up some of the best hidden-gem barbecue eating in the city.
While you won’t be able to dine inside Big Mama’s BBQ, you will be able to dine outdoors in their back patio area. There are umbrellas to escape the Florida sun, plus you’ll likely find quite a few locals chowing down.
The menu is simple and straightforward with a lot of your favorite BBQ staples. Start off with Big Mama’s Cheeseburger, splashed with signature BBQ sauce and layered with sautéed onions and melted cheese.
Also, the pulled pork is worth diving into headfirst. Juicy and smoky, the pork is cooked low and slow for 12 hours. Served with signature sauce and seasoned fries, this platter won’t disappoint.
Don’t worry about getting messy here, either. There is a hand washing station, which in our opinion should be mandatory at all BBQ joints throughout the U.S.
But really, make sure to snag the Big Mama’s specialty when you visit - the St. Louis Ribs. When you’re taking the half rack or full rack, just get ready for a flavor explosion of the best kind.
Have you ever been to Big Mama’s BBQ before? What did you happen to eat there? We’d love to hear from you in the comments section! But also, if you’re looking to place an order with this delightful spot or check out the full menu, visit Big Mama’s BBQ website or visit the Big Mama’s BBQ Facebook Page.
Also, while you’re finished feasting on the savory, drive just a few blocks to visit Cream Parlor in Miami for some of the best ice cream sundaes in the area.
