The first thing you’ll notice about this 90s-themed shop in Sarasota, Florida is the motto – “sorry about your diet!” Hilariously put, the entire bakeshop is bursting with gargantuan-sized cookies that range in decadence. While you might not automatically attach a 1990s-theme with a cookie shop, somehow, Kookies and Kream makes it work. Nothing pairs better with homemade cookies than a dose of nostalgia, right?

The aim of this shop is to not only highlight some truly inventive treats, but to also let people reminisce back to the 1990s - a time of Super Mario Brothers, pizza parties, video game sessions, and the like.

Family-owned and operated, Kookies and Kream was born out of a desire to produce cookies the likes of which nobody in the area has ever seen before.
Eric, with the help of his wife Kelsea, began creating half-pound heaven-sent monstrosities in their kitchen, which ultimately led to the opening of the storefront.

Part of what makes this sweets shop shine is the nostalgia factor - there is a 1990s-themed throughout, which will make many guests feel like a kid again.
If you want to satisfy your sweet tooth in the best possible way, try the Candy Cake - a yellow cake cookie combined with Rolos and peanut butter M&Ms. YUM!
