There’s no place like home, especially if you’re from the Sunshine State. Florida is like no other state, and living in Florida makes you passionate about some very particular things. What are you more passionate about as a result of living in the Sunshine State?
When you're surrounded by coastline on almost every side, you can't help but become a beach expert.
Considering that it was invented here and that it's our official state pie, we're pretty picky about our Key lime pie. Some folks favor a tower of meringue on top, while some like it plain or with a little whipped cream, but we can all agree that it should never be an unnatural bright green. That's a red flag.

We probably own two sweaters and one dusty pair of gloves, but we have flip-flops in every color of the rainbow and sandals for every occasion.

If you want to live somewhere with a seafood restaurant on every corner, with some especially beautiful locations right on the water, Florida is the place for you. We can't get enough delicious, fresh seafood.
In cold states, moms are always nagging kids to put on a coat, but down here we run after them with a bottle of either bug repellant or sunscreen.

It might seem strange to be passionate about a grocery store, but once you visit this locally founded chain, you'll understand. Not only is everything clean and fresh, their bakery and deli sections actually make sweets and subs you want to eat again and again.
