In Florida, waterfront dining is very popular, and most of us have dined on the waterfront plenty of times. But how about dining literally on the water? At Thai Life Floating Restaurant in Key West, you can do just that.
There are plenty of incredible restaurants to visit in Key West, but Thai Life combines delicious food with incredible views.
The restaurant's interior is designed to transport diners to Thailand, but the large open windows steal the show.
Views like this surround the whole restaurant, giving diners the feeling of dining on a boat, without having to go on a cruise.
The beautiful views are complimented by the delicious and authentic Thai dishes.
One of the owners, Dow, is from Southeast Thailand, an area where very spicy food is celebrated. She is also the head chef and cooks every meal to order with the finest ingredients available.
Diners also have the option of bringing in their own catch to have it prepared in one of eight different styles in the Thai Life kitchen.
If you've never had Thai Tea, you should definitely give it a try. Be warned, though, this deliciously sweet and strong tea is addictive.
Thai Life is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m (kitchen closes at 10 p.m). Make a reservation for sunset to enjoy this breathtaking view with your meal. (Phone: 305-296-9907.)
