Floridians, You've Got To Check Out This Epic Floating Adventure Park Before Summer Ends

Don’t even think about sitting around the house this summer. Yes, it’s hot. But there are so many fun things to explore in the Sunshine State! Floridians are always looking for new ways to have fun and stay cool, and this floating adventure park is a great way to do it.

Lift Adventure Park is located in SunWest Park, at 17362 Old Dixie Highway in Hudson. This incredible inflatable obstacle course is the largest of its kind in Florida, and it will make your summer complete.

This huge aqua park sits in a roped-off area of a 700-acre man-made lake, which is spring-fed but also partly fed by the Gulf of Mexico. The shore has been covered with heaps of white sand to make it feel more like a beach. It's not exactly as pretty as the beaches Floridians are used to, but it's still lots of fun.

Visitors can climb, swing, slide, and jump from obstacle to obstacle. Falling off is just as fun (if not more) than successfully making it through.

Kids and adults have a blast at the park, which only costs $10 to $15 per 45 minutes of play (which is plenty of time to get totally worn out). Children must be 7 years old and 45 inches tall and wear a provided life vest to play.

The park also has paddleboards and kayaks for rent, as well as an awesome cable wakeboarding park.

The shore has been covered with heaps of white sand to make it feel more like a beach. It's not exactly as pretty as the beaches Floridians are used to, but it's still lots of fun. There are vendors selling food, but you can also bring your own. Alcohol and tobacco are not allowed.

We wanted to note that there was an alligator spotted at the park a couple of days ago. The park insisted it was the first time an alligator had been seen in the area since the man-made lake had opened to the public in 2015, and It was removed. You can read more about it here.
