What do you get when you combine one of the most beautiful springs in the world and an epic holiday celebration? Just the greatest state park transformation in Florida. Every year this wonderful winter experience takes over this state park, and it becomes a family event that cannot be missed.
Every year the Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park hosts a winter wonderland celebration that is unlike anything around.
This beautiful state park is usually a popular place to visit during the spring and summer, however, each winter, a new side of the park is highlighted.
The Celebration of Lights at the Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park runs for six evenings from December 19th all the way through Christmas Eve, then again on December 26th for the ultimate after-Christmas party.
The perfect family-friendly activity this season, not only do you get live music and manatees galore, but you also get a light show that is as festive as it gets.
While the winter wonderland is free to attend, there is a suggested donation of $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for children, just to keep this tradition a beloved one for years to come.
The address for the Celebration of Lights at Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park is 4150 South Suncoast Boulevard, Homosassa FL 34446. To find out more information about the festival, visit the website or Facebook Page.
