Not because it’s built to replicate a castle, that’s an entirely different unique place in Florida. But instead, this particular house is an artist’s dream, a spectacular sight of color and whimsical celebration…and of course, tons and tons of bowling balls.
The Whimzey Bowling Ball House in Safety Harbor, Florida is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.
In 1985, this was just a regular, ordinary brown house on a Florida sidestreet—however, once Todd Ramquist and Kiaralinda bought the property, everything changed.
It all began when Todd and Kiaralinda, who were childhood friends and neighbors growing up, came across a flea market stall with a sign that noted 10 Free Bowling Balls Per Person.
With help from a few friends, they quickly had 60 bowling balls on hand and began to craft them into works of art, for both themselves and their property.
There is a plethora of art sculptures, mosaics, architectural embellishments and more, which make it a wondrous stop for anyone who loves the strange and unusual.
