Every so often, there is a fascinating place that pops up in Florida that we just have to share. More often than not it’s a one-of-a-kind Airbnb or a unique dining experience that just cannot be rivaled. But this particular place has nothing to do with food or a getaway, yet still is one of the most unusually awesome places in the state.
In case you’ve never been through Daytona Beach on a Sunday morning, there is a church service that takes place that is unlike any other around.
Daytona Beach Drive-In Church is located right along the water’s edge, and boasts a service that is open to everyone who can enjoy from the comfort of their vehicle.
The services last around 55 minutes total, and guests are able to park along the outdoor areas to worship from their cars, or enjoy any of the several shaded spots outside, too.
There is even a Fellowship Hall for those who want to step inside for their Sunday service, although sometimes just staying put, dressed as you like, is an easy way to worship.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to dress as they feel comfortable, which really can be your pajamas if you want to stay in your car the entire time.
