Disney World and Disneyland have been eerily quiet over the past few weeks since stay-at-home orders were issued in lieu of the coronavirus pandemic. What is usually such a bustling place, filled with families, children, and happiness, has been empty. Yet, even the emptiness of the park brings about a sense of beauty and stillness, especially in areas like the empty Animal Kingdom in Florida. Disney released a few rare photos of what it’s like inside the park right now, and the scenes are hauntingly beautiful. Take a look.

Beyond Disney shared a blog post about the empty parks, the team from Imagineering also posted the photos to their Instagram Page and captioned them, "'It doesn’t matter who you are or where you are from. The park doesn’t have a re-opening date scheduled just yet, but Disney has offered ways to still enjoy the park system through virtual rides and new merch options.

Outside of the beauty that the empty park system has provided, drone footage was released of the empty Disney parks as well. The YouTube drone video provided by Attractions Magazine has nearly 350,000 views and showcases an eerily quiet theme park. This drone footage shows the beauty of the parks in ways they have never been seen before—void of human life and completely still. Watch the drone video below.
