If there is one thing Sunny’s Steakhouse does right, it’s to create the perfect ambiance. But luckily this restaurant does way more than just one thing right. Sunny’s Steakhouse in Miami is the type of steakhouse experience that runs a bit outside the box.
When you picture a steakhouse experience, you may think of classic cuts, mahogany tables, an extensive wine list, and crisp, white napkins. Yet at Sunny’s, you get an entirely different experience altogether. We’re talking dining under a gargantuan Banyan tree, fit with twinkling lights, and a delightful alfresco atmosphere.
What initially started as a taco pop-up, eventually became a place where locals could enjoy Wagyu New York Strip Steak cooked to order. It isn’t too common to find a steakhouse pop-up, but we guarantee this is one experience you do not want to miss!
The team at Jaguar Sun brought Sunny’s to life as a pandemic pop-up but has since become a coveted place for locals to kickback. Picture meats on the menu like the 70-day-aged New York strip, a hanger steak, and a 40-day-aged rib-eye. And that is just the steak! There are also half-chickens, whole yellowtail snapper, and pork loin, too.
What began with humble beginnings is now one of the best places to snag steak in Miami, and also somewhat of a hidden gem to most. Just keep an eye out for the giant Banyan tree with lights and you’re almost there!
