It's Impossible To Drive Through This Delightful Florida Town Without Stopping
Is there anything better than a small town? You can spend hours walking the streets lined with charming shops and restaurants full of local flavor. If you live in a bigger city, these mom and pop businesses can be hard to find. Winter Garden, with a population of 35,000, isn’t really a small town, but it has managed to retain its small-town charm.
There’s so much to love about Winter Garden. You can spend all day perusing the shops and boutiques in the historic downtown district, or spend some time learning about the history of the city in the heritage museum or railroad museum. How about a show at the adorable little Garden Theatre, that dates back to 1935? If you miss the Saturday farmers market (one of the best around), you can still check out the Plant Street Market, a large indoor artisan market full of fresh organic foods and handmade goods, open 7 days a week. On top of all of this, Winter Garden is also right outside of Orlando, near many of Florida’s biggest attractions. It really is the best of both worlds.
