We know you all must have been pretty good this year, because Florida has been blessed with so many gifts this season. Here are a few of our favorite highlights. Merry Christmas, everyone!
1. A White Christmas
We don't need snow. We'd much rather have sand between our toes.
2. Relaxation
Even Santa's reindeer come to Florida's beaches to chill.
3. Lots of shrimp
Carl McCaskey
At least for everyone in Apalachicola, where Santa ditches the sleigh and arrives by shrimp boat.
4. Nights of Lights
Courtesy of our beautiful and historic St. Augustine.
5. Walking in a water wonderland
The Jacksonville Landing looking lovely.
Punta Gorda is definitely in the holiday spirit.
Siesta Key is so pretty with all the lights reflected on the water.
6. Our own take on Christmas trees
Like these festive palms in Punta Gorda.
And this beautifully decorated tree in Jensen Beach.
7. And don't forget our beloved Sandi
The ultimate sand Christmas Tree can be found at the West Palm Beach Waterfront.
8. Okay, so maybe it's also a Green Christmas
Hey, when it's 75 degrees outside, you can't complain.
9. But we had plenty of lights
They look just as pretty here as they do in the cold. Pictured is Hernando Beach.
10. With gorgeous gardens
Like the ZOOLights at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. In case you missed it, it runs through January 2nd.
And these trees at the Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo, which runs through December 31st.
9. And glowing flamingos
As seen in Dunedin.
And also here at the ZOOLights in Jacksonville.
10. Best of all, we have all of this beauty to look forward to for another year!
Like this shell tree captured on Honeymoon Island.
