It’s never too early to start planning for the unique events that take place throughout Florida. In fact, just a mere month away is one of the most spectacular seafood festivals that our great state has to offer. We’re talking fresh seafood, nautical vendors, live music, a boat show, and so much more. Mark your calendars, Floridians! Because you do not want to miss this festival.
One of the greatest celebrations of seafood in the south is back and better than ever in 2019.
Each year, The Florida Keys Seafood Festival goes all out—meaning that each plate of seafood offered up is caught fresh at more than reasonable prices.
The festival itself has so much to offer in terms of seafood, from fries fish baskets to grilled spiny lobster platters, to stone crab claws, smoked fish dip, conch chowder, and so much more.
There is also a bevy of entertainment too, from the raffle to have $250 in seafood shipped to your home, to the new boat show, the local celebrity chef demos, and even a children’s eco discovery zone.
But you probably won’t go home empty-handed either, with the various vendors that set up shop throughout the weekend to sell their local and homemade goods.
What could be better than welcoming in the new year with a fresh plate of stone crab claws and an iced cold beer as live music drifts throughout the Florida Keys?
The Florida Keys Seafood Festival takes place on January 19th and 20th in 2019. The location of the festival is Bayview Park, 1320 Truman Ave, Key West, FL 33040. To find out more information about the festival, visit the website or Facebook Page.
