Everyone loves a good farmers market, right? There is something so rewarding about waking up early on a Saturday and enjoying a stroll through the different vendor tents, seeing all the local fruits and vegetables and artisan goods. If you’ve never been in the Sarasota area though, you probably don’t know about this staple of the community. What has been around since the 1970s has turned into one of the greatest farmers markets in the state of Florida, and it deserves a visit.
The Sarasota Farmer’s Market is located in the downtown Sarasota area on Lemon and Main street. The farmers market is open year-round from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine! To learn more about the market, visit the website or Facebook Page.
