Delaware is famous for its seafood! From the bay to the coast, you’ll find delicious crabs, clams, mussels and of course oysters all over the First State. There are plenty of fancy, upscale seafood restaurants in Delaware, too – especially down at the beaches, where vacationers come to spoil themselves in the summertime. Locals, however, know that the best crabs in Delaware are located in tiny crab shacks throughout the state – and one spot in Delaware City deserves some recognition.
Wiso's Crabs is located right next to another famous Delaware crab shack, Kathy's.
Each platter comes with fries or tater tots, and dinners include coleslaw, too. Their appetizers are crab shack classics, like popcorn shrimp, hush puppies, clam strips and more.
