Have you ever heard someone lament that there’s nothing to do in Delaware, aside from going to the beach? Well, if you grew up in Kent County, you know that’s not true! Right in the heart of the state, there’s a magical state park that’s home to the only Waterpark Campground in Delaware at Killens Pond State Park.
This enormous State Park is home to Delaware's best water park and a super cozy campground, along with miles of trails and plenty of paddling space.
Kids and adults of all ages love cooling off in the exciting water park that features slides, a splash pad, and plenty of places to relax in a water wonderland.
If you would rather try "glamping," you can rent a cabin that features a full bath, kitchen, bedroom, dining area, picnic area, and is climate controlled.
Drying off is as simple as walking the beautiful trails that wind their way through the park! You will spot wildlife and pretty plants along your stroll.
Killens Pond also offers an educational nature center, and hosts events all summer long. When you think about it, there is no better waterpark campground in the region than the one at Killens Pond State Park!
You can find this gem of a park at 5025 Killens Pond Rd., Felton, DE 19943. For information on booking a campsite and buying your waterpark tickets in advance, visit the Killens Park website here.
