All over Delaware, taco Tuesday has been taking over lives. In fact, there’s a rumor out there that Delawareans will eat tacos any day of the week! Luckily, our restaurant scene is keeping up with the demand, and it’s easy to find some tasty tacos right here in the First State.
Cocina Lolo is the newest swanky taco joint in Wilmington.
Where else can you find grilled Mahi tacos, dusted with cinnamon, topped with corn relish and avocado salsa verde? Tacos at Lolo are truly one of a kind.
Perhaps the tastiest is their pork carnitas. The pork shoulder is rubbed with brown sugar and chilies, and smoked overnight before being pulled for these tasty tacos.
You can also try their grilled skirt steak tacos, pulled chicken, fried snapper, or mushroom tacos. Each one is served up with sides and toppings to perfectly compliment their flavor.
Like any good cantina, the bar as Cocina Lolo serves up unbelievable margaritas. Drink up - you'll need to quench your thirst after these flavorful, spicy tacos take over.
You can dine at Cocina Lolo Tuesday through Friday, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. for lunch, and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for dinner. On Saturday, they’re open for dinner only from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Monday, they’re open for lunch, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cocina Lolo is closed on Monday.
If you’re big into tacos (and who isn’t?!), Cocina Lolo is a great place to add to our Delaware Taco Trail Road Trip.
