Did you know that the very first steakhouse in Wilmington is still leaving a mark on the city’s restaurant industry? When the Constantinou family first started a deli in 1941, they had no idea that all these years later they would still be running one of Delaware’s finest steakhouses.
Walter's Steakhouse has been a Wilmington legend for over 25 years, but its true history goes back to Constantinou's House of Beef, founded in 1959 and considered Delaware's first steakhouse. The Constantinou family opened up Walter's in 1993.
They're known for making the most delicious prime rib in the state, and you can choose the Chuck side or the Sirloin side. Order it Petite (10 oz), Queen (14 oz), King (24 oz) or the enormous Adams cut (34 oz).
After a huge and hearty meal like the steaks served at Walter's, you might not have room for dessert - but it's worth trying, anyway. Their cakes and pies are the perfect sweet way to wind down an elegant meal.
When will you enjoy your next meal at Walter’s? This Wilmington steakhouse is sure to become a family favorite for everyone who considers themselves a carnivore. Get more information on the restaurant’s website or Facebook page.
