Crabs are a part of Delaware culture, and anyone who spends enough time in the First State sure knows where to find the best ones. That’s why Sambo’s Tavern, a waterfront bar in Leipsic, is popular all season long. While their menu includes classics like shrimp, crabcakes, softshells, and sandwiches, this spot is packed because they know how to make the best blue claw crabs in in the Delmarva area.
Sambo’s is open from April through October, depending on the weather and how the crabs come in. Keep an eye on their Facebook page to see when they open and close for the season.
