From Cape Henlopen to White Clay Creek, they draw millions of visitors every year who want to experience all that Delaware has to offer. Sometimes, though, you want to go where the people aren’t, and these secret Delaware parks are always a lot less crowded than our more well known natural places.
Delaware's largest state forest is also one of its least trekked. Be careful during hunting season, of course, but these trails go on for miles, and you may not even see a soul. You can rent the famous Redden Lodge, too, for a family or office gathering.

The Newark Reservoir is the perfect place to stroll around as the light of day fades. The paths around the pond make for beautiful sunset pictures, and it's usually pretty quite here.
