When it comes to Delaware dining, spring and summer are where we really shine. If you want to beat the crowds, head down to any of these seasonal restaurants now and see what they’re all about.
Fenwick Crabhouse earned a reputation for serving some of the best, meatiest crabs in the state over decades of history here in the First State. In fact, they're so sure you'll love the crabs they serve that they guarantee them — trade in any that you think are too light! The food here is so perfectly cooked and seasoned that the quirky decor is just a bonus.
Address: 100 Coastal Hwy., Fenwick Island, DE 19944
Kathy's Crab House is a favorite spot for upstate Delawareans who want the taste of the beach without having to fight traffic. These fresh-from-the-bay crabs will certainly fill you up, and the other goodies that come with their platters are outstanding as well.
Hammerheads might be Delaware's favorite dock-and-dine restaurant! Not only can you paddle right up to Dockside, but they've got an amazing location in town, too. Enjoy fresh seafood, creative fusion dishes, and delicious tropical drinks as this bar whisks you away to the islands.
Address: 1818 Coastal Hwy., Dewey Beach, DE 19971 or 39415 Inlet Rd., Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971
Boondocks is a no-frills crab house in the middle of nowhere, so of course, it serves some of the best crabs in the state. Enjoy the decor while you pick crabs, and be sure to bring a designated driver so your crowd can indulge in the famous Swamp Water drinks.
The best rooftop dining in Delaware is right here at the Big Chill, where you can grab a drink after a day on the beach or settle in for a seafood meal that will delight your taste buds. Big Chill may be a newcomer to the area, but the restaurant certainly fits in with the beachy town vibe.

A few hours at Paradise Grill is always a good time! Enjoy live entertainment and the feeling of your own island vacation when you dine or drink here. Be aware that it's isolated at the back of a gated community, but it's not hard to find if you just follow the signs.
