Don’t Miss The Most Magical Halloween Event In All Of Delaware
Every year on Halloween Weekend, the town of Rehoboth Beach turns into a Halloween Wonderland! The Sea Witch Festival has been a Rehoboth tradition for as long as anyone can remember, and it’s by far the most enchanting, magical Halloween festival in Delaware

The entire weekend is full of Halloween fun! The signature event is the hunt for the Sea Witch, which begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Pick up your list of more than 100 clues and try to track down the hidden Sea Witch. You have until 5 p.m. to find her, and winners are announced on Sunday at the Bandstand.

The parade kicks off at 11 a. m. on Saturday, October 28, 2017, starting with the walkers. Prizes are awarded for the best costumes in several different categories.

Once you've made him, bring your scarecrow on a hayride through the historic, scenic town! Hayrides run Saturday and Sunday from 1:30 to 5 p.m., so you have plenty of time to catch a ride.

Starting at 5 p.m., get your face painted, participate in a costume contest, enjoy carnival games and trunk-or-treat in the parking lot. Starting at 6:30 p.m., head inside to watch a free screening of Beauty and the Beast! The Sussex Family YMCA is located at 20080 Church Street in Rehoboth Beach.

Dewey's Trick or Treat outing is October 27th from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Rehoboth Beach's downtown merchants host a Trick or Treat event on Saturday, October 28th, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Head to the Boardwalk on Sunday, October 29th at 3:00 p.m., where the Pup Parade begins! You'll see dogs of all sizes dressed up as everything from movie characters to household objects. You don't want to miss this!
After you spend some time at the Sea Witch festival, you’ll understand why it’s the most popular of Delaware’s Halloween events. You can find the full schedule of events here. One thing you’ll note though is that it’s not very spooky — you’ve got to head to Frightland’s Scream Park if you’re looking for the scariest Halloween event in Delaware.
