When Redfire Grill opened in 2010, Hockessin residents were excited to see the restaurant formerly known as Dome emerge as a steakhouse. After all, there weren’t many casual chophouses in the neighborhood, and Redfire appeared to be just that. Eight years later, it’s become a staple of the New Castle County dining scene, and it’s hard to find tastier steaks anywhere in Delaware.
You can find Redfire Grill at 400 Lantana Dr, Hockessin, DE 19707
The wrought iron, exposed beams and red wall are all part of the charm, but the real reason people flock to Redfire Grill is their dry-aged, seared, perfectly cooked steaks.
Here's one of my favorite dishes in Delaware: Redfire's pan seared organic chicken breast with crispy polenta, broccoli rabe, sweet corn and smoked tomato jam. It's the perfect summer dish!
The Redfire burger is absolutely worth trying, too.
They've been known to infuse their own liquors and invent creative cocktails that will please even the pickiest drinker. From steaks to drinks, Redfire cuts absolutely no corners.
