This lovely protected preserve is a great place for a hiking adventure with your family when you want to make memories that are sure to last.

You've probably driven by Redden State Forest outside of Georgetown hundreds of times, but have you ever made the time to trek through these woods?
You'll find miles of maintained trails that wind their way through one of Delaware's most remote pine forests tucked away here, waiting for you to explore.
Delaware's largest state forest showcases more than 12,900 acres of wilderness. Along with a variety of trees, shrubs, and plant life, you'll likely run into some wildlife out here, too.
Redden State Forest has become a top family camping destination, with plenty of room to pitch a tent and drive-up sites that make it easy to venture out with kids.
