We love all of Delaware’s small towns; each has its own charm and distinct features. There’s one small Delaware town that has a special surprise: a delicious restaurant that serves tasty Cajun food. Check this out:
Nestled on the banks of the Delaware River, the little town of New Castle has a rich history going all the way back to 1651 when it was founded by the Dutch West India Company.
Today, this quiet hamlet has just over 5,000 residents, and it's a pretty town with trim, red brick buildings, large trees, and a strong sense of community.
New Castle is also home to the quirky, charming Nora Lees French Quarter Bistro. This award-winning restaurant offers live music, an eclectic atmosphere, and delicious Cajun food.
Everything on the menu is infused with Cajun flavors. From mild spices to wallop-you-in-the-face spicy, you're certain to find a dish that pleases your palate.
No matter what you do, you absolutely must order the crawfish nachos. They're a house specialty and include tasty bits of crawfish, jalapenos, and black olives. They're drenched in spicy cajun sauce and covered in cheese, sour cream, and salsa.
